We finally granted the kids’ wish to have a small fish tank. A very small fish tank. I have to admit that they have been doing a good job taking care and maintaining it. However, last month they were having a, as they put it, snail attack.

Hundreds of snails occupied their territories, let it be plants, rocks, glass walls, everything. After consulting the fish vendor, they were recommended to put a drop of anti-snails medicine during filter cleaning, as well as adding a couple of this fish, named, the black ghost.

Turned out that the black ghost is a lean mean eating machine who serves well to its name. Just within days, the snails completely disappeared. He’s our snails terminator :-).
