Imagine if you check-in to a 5 star hotel n are told to wait as your room is still not ready. I am pretty sure that you won’t be happy.
But if the same thing happen in hospital, why most people are just more patient, less complaining, letting it go, or to be precise, helpless.
I am bringing it up today, as my younger brother had an accident in the morning. Getting a room took quite some time. Then the operation theatre which was scheduled for 9pm dragged for 1 and a half hour as the previous patient in the designated theatre took longer than expected. It took them 1 and a half hour to decide that they need to change to another operation theatre! But what can you do? Nothing, right?!
Then the surgery itself was only 30-45 minutes.
Being an ex hotelier, I wonder if the reception staff do the same to guests. Hmmm. And we are talking about the same bracket of room rate here :-).

Don’t you just hate it when you are standing at strategic spot by the finish line, camera is ready in hand, all set up, waiting for your subject to appear. Then as he enters, one random guy just innocently passes by right in front of you, blocking all your view. I just hate it!
But I was pleasantly surprised when I uploaded my shots for that day, and it turned out that my subject was nicely framed by the arm of that dude.
But my subject, a.k.a my eldest son is not so happy, as he commented, that his picture is “inside the dude’s armpit”. 🙂

During our last camping trip, I saw these 2 boys on the raft, busy moving the net here and there. After asking around, wanting to know what kind of fish they might get at this lake, I was told that they are catching tiny little fishes, even smaller than ‘ikan teri’ or small anchovies.
