I dislike those flimsy plastic toys. The quality is generally very poor, it will be broken in no time. But sometimes those free toys you get from airline can serve their purpose, particularly during the waiting / delay time. Anything which can entertain kids is good enough for me.

Restlessness of boys these age can sometimes be unbearable. It seems that being still in a restaurant while waiting for their food to come is a heavy task for them. A chessboard came to the rescue yesterday when we had lunch in a local restaurant. We could talk peacefully while the kids were immersed in a game.
