The stone market in Rawa Bening, Jakarta is like a over sensory stimulation for me. The place just full of people, various colourful stones, noises, smells, all happening at the same time.
But being an anti smoking, the place was unfortunately not that suitable for me. I had headache after half an hour walking around, being in a confined crowded place with cigarette smoke lingering around.

Accompanying my mom to stock up on her embroidery threads, I caught the glimpse of these beautiful colorful yarns on the shelf.

This legendary candy shop, Heidelberger Zuckerladen, is weel-known, not only because of the array of sweets they have inside, but apparently also due to the funny proprietor who talks to all customers.
I’m not a big fan of candies, so for me, entering the shop was more like feast for the eyes. The different color and shapes in rows and rows, stacked one on top of another. The shop was also full of customers, some choosing to purchase, while some just curious about how the shop look like from inside.
I wasn’t sure whether photography is allowed, but there’s no sign of anything. so I just held my camera waist high and did some random shots. This particular one doesn’t come out too bad.

My mom made this tablecloth a very very very long time ago. I admire her quality of work. The precision of each stitch, combined with colour combination, fulfil the intricacy of the whole design.
