On this last Sunday of 2014, we had our weekly ritual of horseback riding. I love this particular shot, as it comes out so clear, yet the action still could be seen from the dust / sand flying around, left by the horses legs.
My little one insisted on wearing his GoPro Camera (on his helmet), a gift from his grandparents from his last birthday 3 weeks ago.

We organised our little one’s birthday party as a full outdoor event. It was more like a team building exercise, incorporating horse and water elements. The party started with soccer game, while waiting for the late comers, followed by foot tag, with balloon attached on 1 leg of each participants.
The 3rd game was pony riding while carrying a tray full of glasses of water. Each team needs to assign their riders, water fillers and bucket filler at the other end. Still on the pony, the following game was egg on spoon race. The kids had a blast :-).

Everytime after we finish riding, we like to let the horses run free and play with each other. After few minutes, we open the water sprinkler and they just go ga ga, running here and there chasing the water.
We normally like to do it outdoor. Unfortunately on this particular day, the outdoor arena was occupied, thus we made a do with the covered one. I promise to take an outdoor version, which should be much better.

Currently he prefers to work with horses than simply riding them. It’s an absolutely wonderful activity to practice his patience. He always starts with being irritated when they don’t listen to them at the beginning. But after few attempts, then the horses started to listen to him and following him around in the arena. It’s just such a joy to watch.
