Last Friday evening was Science Night at kids’ school. They worked together and picked ‘walking on eggs’ as their experiment. Right after the event was officially opened, a line was right away formed for their booth. Schoolmates, as well as adults, queuing to try their experiments.
It was fun to see the expressions on their faces. Adults always start with the expression of disbelieved that the fragile eggs could carry their weight. A lot of them asked if the kids were using boiled eggs! Dude, please, seriously! They ended up amazed with the fact that the eggs CAN survive :-).
The kids enjoyed explaining to their schoolmates about the whole reasons behind this facts.
I bought 5 trays of eggs, worried that they will need a lot of back up, but it turned out that they ended up with only few ‘casualties’. The cleaners were happy when we handed them the leftover eggs. They definitely have a big omelette party afterwards 🙂
