When I saw these art pieces for the first time, I initially thought they are dancers. Until I saw some indentation lines on the lady’s left leg, showing its position. Then I assumed they must be doing some Asian martial arts, most probably tai-chi. What do you think?

I am not a buddhist. I don’t meditate. But this statue, my companion every morning, gives me the sense of calmness, peacefulness and tranquilness.
It’s the basic teaching of Buddha itself which I think, gives the sense of serenity. Nothing is lost in the universe, as matter turns into energy and energy turns into matter. Everything in life is continuously changing, as life is like a river which flows on and on. And there is continuous changes, due to the law of cause and effect, known as the law of karma.
